Moving to Bolivia

AMI has a mandate to carry on the word given to our spiritual father in faith Brother Kenneth E Hagin and that is  "go and teach my people faith" and we are going to do just that.

Darrell and Donnia Alexander have a heart to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ, they are called to Teach the Nations and Reach the Word. Darrell and Donnia were called to go to Arequipa, Peru for a season to serve with local missionaries there and to establish relationships with local pastors in the area especially the RHEMA family pastors and missionaries.

While on the mission field in Peru Alexander Ministries International extended the vision to out lying areas like Camana Peru with two evangelistic campaigns. AMI was involved in helping local Pastors reach the harvest and fulfill the vision God had given to them. In one outreach in Camana, Peru 150 people came forward to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

While in Arequipa, Darrell was the key speaker for the annual Campmeeting held by Ministerios Buenas Nuevas the Church of one of the local Rhema pastors. Darrell also worked with local pastors by helping with monthly pastors breakfasts working in conjunction with New Heart Ministries and Charles Dean Ministries and ministering in local Churches like Comunidad Carismática de Fe Ríos de Fortaleza.

To God goes all the glory for the wonderful works He has done. Alexander Ministries has been able to touch many lives in Peru.

Now a new door has opened for Alexander Ministries International in the country of Bolivia. Concerning this Darrell said "the opportunity that has been set before us reminds me of the scripture that says...and all these blessings shall overtake you" The way has been opened into Cochabamba, Bolivia to be working with Pastor David Larsson at Rhema Bible Training Center - Bolivia. Darrell will be the Dean of RBTC in Cochabamba and La Paz Bolivia. The Alexander's will also have the privilege of attending the Church founded by David & Violeta Larsson "La Palabra de Fe" (The Word of Faith). Because of this opportunity AMI will be able to touch the lives of thousands as the students of RBTC in Bolivia graduate and go out to Teach the Nations and Reach the World carrying the mandate with them to "Go and teach my people faith" as set forth by the founder of RHEMA Dr. Kenneth E Hagin. These are exciting times for Darrell and Donnia and for Alexander Ministries International. With this direction will come some changes. Darrell and Donnia will be moving to Bolivia in March of 2012 but the base camp of the ministry will still be in Florida operated by Rod and Cheryl Kroll the other half of Alexander Ministries International. Without the support that they provide, the day to day work that has to be done in the United States would not be completed. Without these these two faithful people AMI would not be able to do the things God has instructed AMI to do.

HOW DOES THIS EFFECT THE WORK IN PERU

The work in Peru will only be enhanced because of the many connections made while in Peru. AMI will be able to stay in constant contact with Charles Dean Ministries and work with them in some upcoming plans that are in-line with the vision of AMI. Also because of the connection with Pastor Jim Andrews and the RHEMA pastors in Arequipa and Lima and surrounding areas Darrell will have the opportunity to be in Peru and work with these Pastors and Churches in the years to come. Cochabamba is a city in central Bolivia, located in a valley bearing the same name in the Andes mountain range. It is the capital of the Cochabamba Department and is the fourth largest city in Bolivia with an urban population of 608,276 (2008) and a metropolitan population of more than 1,000,000 people. The name derives from a compound of the Quechua words qucha, meaning "lake", and pampa, "open plain". Residents of the city and surrounding areas are commonly referred to as Cochabambinos. Cochabamba is known as the "City of Eternal Spring" and "The Garden City" due to its spring-like temperatures year round. It is also known as "La Llajta", "town" in Quechua

Currently, Cochabamba is among Bolivia's most economically and socially progressive cities. Commensurate with other large cities in the Andean highlands of South America, Cochabamba is a city of varied contrasts. Its central commercial districts, bounded by Plaza Colón and Plaza 14 de Septiembre, is generally equipped with modern urban amenities, and is where the majority of the city's business and commercial industries are based. The area in which Cochabamba is situated is commonly referred to as the granary of Bolivia.

Its climate is milder than that of the Altiplano region to the west and thus permits an extensive agriculture, including grains, potatoes, and coffee in the highlands and sugarcane, cocoa beans, tobacco, and fruit in the Chapare tropical lowlands, an area that had been one of the country’s main coca-leaf-producing regions. Cochabamba is also the industrial pole of Bolivia, producing cars, cleaning products, cosmetics, chemicals, and other items like cement. The economy of Cochabamba is characterized by produce goods and services.

• By sponsoring a student in RHEMA Bolivia. Just $200.00 US will pay a complete year and you will be a part of training leaders, pastors, & church workers for the ministry.
• By breaking down denominational walls by emphasizing Christ as the head of the church.
• By Helping established local ministries by hosting short-term mission teams, youth and adult.
