Welcome To Mission Peru

Darrell and Donnia are called to AREQUIPA, PERU and we say Gloria a Dios en Peru, Glory to God in Peru. AMI has a mandate to carry on the word given to our spiritual father in the faith Bro. Kenneth E Hagin "go and teach my people faith" and we are going to do just that.

The mission of this ministry is to go wherever the Lord sends and opens a door for us, and He has opened a big door to to go into Peru with our friends Dr. Lew and Mariesa Davis.

 

 

 

Arequipa is the capital of the Arequipa Region in southern Peru. With a population of 904,931 (2009 - World-Gazetteer.com) it is the second most populous city of the country.

 

 

 

Arequipa lies in the Andes mountains, at an altitude of 2,380 meters (7,800 feet) above sea level; the snow-capped volcano El Misti overlooks the city.
 

 

 

 

The city has many colonial-era Spanish buildings built of   sillar, a pearly white volcanic rock, from which it gets the nickname La Ciudad Blanca ("The White City") The historic centre of Arequipa was named a UNESCO world heritage site in 2000, in recognition of its architecture and historic integrity.

 

 

 

Dr. Lew and Mariesa Davis are missionaries in Arequipa Peru. AMI will be blessed to work along side these two wonderful servants of the Lord. Darrell will be teaching full time in the Bible Institute along with Dr. Davis and Donnia will be working with Mariesa Davis in the administrative office. This will give Mariesa the time she is needing to work as a liaison for Missionary Ventures Medical outreaches. Both Darrell and Donnia will be working with the outreach to the feeding centers and the orphanages and will also be able to minister in the area Churches and in the region traveling both in the area and abroad.

The people of Arequipa are open and hungry to hear the good news of our loving and kind God that will heal their bodies and meet their needs. Darrell and Donnia will be moving their base of operation to Arequipa Peru with a main office in the United States. The day to day operations of AMI will be handled by the staff of AMI from our Florida office at PO Box 832 Lake Hamilton FL 33851

 

Centro De Estudios Biblicos 

Pastor Darrell will be teaching daily at the Bible Study Center with Dr. Lew Davis this will be an outstanding opportunity to train and mature saints through the practical teaching of Gods Word. Some of the classes Darrell will be teaching are:

Our Mission Goals:

 

We need your help:

• Bring people to Jesus Christ through personal evangelism and outreach teams.
• Mature saints in a Bible college by training leaders, pastors, & church members.
• Break down denominational walls by emphasizing Christ as the head of the church.
• Help with health care by conducting medical teams in remote areas where health care is not readily available, as well as in the city of Arequipa.
• Provide programs for training children and youth.
• Help established local ministries by hosting short-term mission teams.

 We firmly believe in the power of prayer.  We believe there have been times that prayer has literally made the difference in life and death while we were on the mission field.  We need strong prayer partners now more than ever.  We need a team of intercessors that will focus on this ministry and this nation in prayer. 

 

Promote: 

 Another effective way to become involved with AMI Peru is to share with others what we are doing.  Please tell your fellow church members and other churches what we are doing.  Encourage others to become involved with us in changing lives in Peru.  We would be happy to send information to any of your friends if you send us their contact information.

In Peru there is an orphanage with 24 children ranging in age from 2 to 14 years. This is a faith based ministry run by two outstanding people who have given there life to these children.

Each child needs to go to school and they have to have a uniform and books and supplies. We would like to have 24 people that will give a minimum of $30.00 a month for the care of these kids. We would also like to buy each one of them there own Bible.
